![]() ![]() The Baloo project develops ten separate fonts with unique local names for each of the ten Indic Scripts. Carefree yet confident, warm yet entertaining, sprightly yet intelligible, Baloo infuses life everywhere it goes. ![]() Snuggling several scripts under a single weight, the typeface focuses on giving equal justice to every act of this gentle jungle affair to secure single and multi-script use. Baloo Tammaīaloo is a distinctive heavy spurless design with a subtle tinge of playfulness and all the bare necessities of type. Noto Sans Kannada UI is part of Google's Noto Project. There are no UI verions of scripts that do not need such adjustment, and the non-UI versions should be preferred for use in body text. They can be used anywhere that has limited vertical space. They have tighter vertical metrics, and some glyphs that would be clipped are redrawn to fit within the constrained space. The UI fonts were initially prepared for use in Android’s UI. Noto Sans Kannada and Not Serif Kannada are part of this project. The comprehensive set of fonts and tools used in our development is available in our GitHub repositories. Noto has multiple styles and weights, and is freely available to all. The name noto is to convey the idea that Google’s goal is to see “no more tofu”. Google has been developing a font family called Noto, which aims to support all languages with a harmonious look and feel.
